EXPO BEAUTY SHOW

Expo Beauty Show Considered the biggest International professional Beauty show in the world cause of the square meters in a professional beauty exhibitors it takes thefirst place being the biggest show in the world, celebrating our 15° Anniversary on October 30, 31 & November 1, in Centro Banamex (Hipodromo de Las Americas) Mexico City.

EBS starts in 1997. The principal visitors are the beauty professionals, where they find everything for the hair, body, nails, skin, etc. Obtaining big contributions on the part of the exhibitors worldwide, representatives of prestigious brands of Beauty, from Asia, Europe, USA and Mexico, who worry not only in showing their products and to sell them, but they grant training across the wisdom with catwalks in their own booths, independently of the EBS main stage that presents from 6 to 8 daily shows of prestigious and recognized professionals of the international beauty.

EBS has presented in the last years as main shows in the main stage: Vidal Sassoon international team of England, Carlo Bay of Italy and Patrick Cameron from New Zealand, coming from England, Klaus Peter Ochs from Germany, Mahogany Team from London, Brooks & Brooks from London and in 2009 we had as the main show Hob Salons from England with Babyliss.

In 2009 we had the first edition of EBZ Education Beauty Zone with classes included in EBS tickets for all our visitors, the classes were with different variants for example cut, color, hairdo, makeup, administration, etc. Some of the classes had cost.

As for our exhibitors their satisfaction is notable, since year with year, they request bigger space, as well as the request of booths for new companies that want to join for future events.

For the increasing demand for the booths, always the expectations have been exceeded and it is because of it that the meters of exhibition have increased as well as the exhibitors.

Last year assistance was of 68,348 visitors during three days, more than 800 booths in 38,000 square meters of exhibition.

EBS acquires the commitment to offer year with year, the best of the international beauty show for all his customers.

Torres: Professional stylist, began his basic training in Mexico later in prestigious academies in Europe and the United States graduates specializing in haircut, color, and high hairdo, has performed in Mexico, Panama, Guatemala, Venezuela, Peru, Uruguay and Canada as well as their participation in the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, also have been winning competitions in Mexico and Despéinate Color Trophy and without limit. Currently President of the Haute Coifure, ambassador of the Mexican high hairdresser, member and leader of the artistic team H3. It has four salons in the city of Guadalajara and soon will form a central update for stylists.

Tim Hartley Main Show

TIM HARTLEY / ENGLAND

Tim Hartley is, quite simply, one of the world’s greatest hairdressers. After a 30 year career at Vidal Sassoon, Tim has left the corporate world to concentrate on his own visions of hair design. For over 30 years he’s been inspiring generations of young hairdressers with his passionate approach to hair, cutting edge aesthetic and technical expertise. His rise to the stratosphere of international hair design has been remarkable.

Having qualified as a barber at, of course, Sassoon’s, Tim was already experimenting with hair using the look of Manchester’s underground scene at night as inspiration for the haircuts he was creating by day. By 1981 Tim had moved into women’s hairdressing and was already turning heads with his cuts. A Tim Hartley haircut was an integral component of the look in particular the stunning Kabuki created for the model Julie Woodhouse, and singer Marc Almond of Soft Cell. This exemplary work was recognized by mentor and friend Sassoon Creative Director Christopher Brooker and Tim was made a regional art director.

It was around this time that Tim began to develop his signature style, Haircuts such as the ubiquitous Wrap of 1986 which was to dominate the 1990s in the catwalk shows of Helmut Lang and Prada. By 1987 Tim was chosen to play a leading role in the re-styling of Hollywood legend Faye Dunaway.’ Since the late 1980s Tim’s place in the pantheon of hairdressing has been assured and he continues to travel internationally to great acclaim courted by professionals, picking up awards and inspiring hairdressers with his genuine passion for the craft and his innate understanding of the cultural significance of hair.

And his advice to the next generation? “Be open-minded, seek out diversity, find a great mentor, work hard and love what you do, love it every day.”
